Emaar South offers townhouses for $243,566


Emaar South – a joint venture of Emaar Properties and Dubai South – has started selling two-bedroom townhouses for US$243,566 (Dh893,888) – one of the lowest price of a townhouse in Dubai that will attract the middle income property buyers that have previously been priced out.

The developer is getting ready to deliver its Phase One, with development value Dh1.5 billion, next year. It is located in the heart of Dubai South, an emerging 145 square kilometre master-planned aviation city centred around Al Maktoum International – the world’s largest greenfield airport development with a design capacity to handle 160 million passengers per year.

Emaar South will cater to growing businesses in Dubai South, that will host Expo 2020 Dubai in addition to the Dubai Airshow, the mega-urban district is expected to become the new logistics hub.

Emaar South’s park-side lifestyle will take its residents away from the bustle and nestled by green parks, landscaped gardens and a central 18-hole championship golf course, and with tree-lined boulevards, walking and bicycle trails and a well-linked public transport network. The destination will also serve professionals working at the nearby Dubai Wholesale City, Dubai World Central Free Zone, and Al Maktoum International Airport, as well as the various components of Dubai South including the Aviation District, Logistics District, Business Park, Exhibition District and Humanitarian District.

Emaar South offers a mix of townhouses, villas and apartments. It is selling townhouses of 2 and 3 bedroom for Dh893,888 (US$243,566) as starting price. Work at the site is developing in rapid pace with Emaar Development making significant progress on various components including road and infrastructure work.

The prestigious Golf Links villa community is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2020, just in time for the Expo 2020 Dubai.
