‘Gemini Property Developers’ to attend Annual Investment Meeting 2019, amongst the Top-notch global business experts

Gemini Property Developers, a Dubai-based boutique real estate developer, has announced its active engagement with investors and other stakeholders at Annual Investment Meeting 2019, which started on April 8 and will continue till April 10, 2019 at Trade Centre Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Annual Investment Meeting was opened by Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The meeting is attended by 20,000 delegates from 140 different countries and the objective was to boost economic growth through sustainable investments. The theme for ninth edition of the Annual Investment Meeting is ‘Mapping the Future of FDI: Enriching World Economies through Digital Globalization’.

The Three-day long AIM will focus on promoting FDIs and effective ways to attract investors to various economic sectors. Dubai remained an attractive destination globally for foreign direct investment (FDI) as it recorded about Dh38.5 billion inflow in 2018, a growth of 41 per cent over 2017, placing the emirate in the 1st position in total number of FDI projects and capital flows.

Sunil Gomes, CEO of Gemini Property Developers said, “The UAE is a magnet for international investors and AIM 2019 will boost investor confidence, especially in real estate and construction sectors. I expect new investors coming to UAE and attract more foreign direct investment FDI to Dubai’s real estate sector.”

“From property sales point of view, FDI will help boosting the sale of the properties and clear the large chunks of inventory available in the market. More FDI inflow will encourage developers to invest more in the sector.”

According to 'Dubai FDI Annual Resorts and Ranking 2018' released by the Dubai Investment Development Agency, Dubai has attracted 523 FDI projects in 2018, an increase of 43 percent over 2017.

FDI projects created about 25,000 new jobs in 2018, an increase of 77 percent compared to 14,065 jobs in the previous year, placing Dubai in 9th position globally in job creation through FDI.

“We (Gemini Property Developers) handed over our Dh300 million worth of maiden Splendor residential project with most of the residents already moved-in. Our second project Symphony at Dubai’s Business Bay area is estimated for completion before the historic Expo 2020.”

“All our projects is built in accordance with the global green building standards. The contemporary look and feel of the green building in our projects will amaze the investors. It also falls in line with the Government’s vision that seeks to find modern, sustainable ways to strengthen the infrastructures.” Said Sunil Gomes.

Along with AIM, Mr Sunil Gomes and team is also taking part in Future Cities Show. Future Cities Show 2019 is creating a platform for everyone to learn, share ideas, form wider network, and secure investment partnerships within the realm of creating new cities through its five leading future city solutions- Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Smart Infrastructure, Smart Mobility, and Sustainability.
